Summary: At check in the hotel refused to accept a debit or anything other than a credit card for incidentals. Would of lost prepaid stay if I did not borrow a friend’s credit card. I will not stay here again. Never had this problem at any other hotel.

Summary: Everything about The Josie Hotel was wonderful! Excellent service, friendly, professional, efficient and helpful staff in all regards. Beautifully appointed hotel with all of the amenities that you could ask for. Spotlessly clean and well maintained, modern facility. We actually stayed 4 nights in total as our plans changed from the original 3 night booking to 4 nights. We were attending College Prep Baseball Provincials which were held in Trail about 20 minutes away so we commuted every day. The only meals we had at The Velvet Restaurant inside the Josie were our breakfasts. When we booked our rooms, we pre-paid our breakfasts for the 4 days which ended up being a very good deal price-wise as the menu items were quite expensive we thought. The food we had was good but not excellent especially if we had paid the menu price and not the much cheaper pre-paid price. All in all, we would absolutely recommend The Josie Hotel and we would definitely stay there again!

Summary: The staff was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. Let us park the motorcycles in the garage. The only downside was there was a bike race going on and so a limited menu in the restaurant. A lot of construction going on right now, hopefully more shops and restaurants as it is too far from town to walk.

Summary: Lovely very new hotel. A bit cavernous, but lovely amenities. 10 minutes from town bit right on the mountain. Great for skiing and hiking recommended!

Summary: From the front desk, elevators, halls, room, bed, breakfast, and checkout, everything was a 5 star. The only glitch that was a bit odd is that we had to call the front desk to get into the parking garage.

Summary: Beautiful property and we had a very nice room upgrade. However, no hairdryer in room and went to the front desk twice and got new hairdryers. None worked and neither did the one we brought from home. Guessing there is an electrical issue???
